Boardwalk to Heaven

I took a gamble, catching the last ferry to a remote island in southeastern North Carolina, armed only with my skateboard and camera gear. As night fell, I found myself in the darkest place I've ever been, waiting in the sand for the Galactic Core to rise.

When it did, it was brighter and more awe-inspiring than I'd ever imagined. After hours of searching, I discovered a worn-out boardwalk nestled in the dunes, and I knew I'd found my shot. Capturing the Core perfectly aligned with the night sky made the journey worth every moment.
